Midsummer Madness is a two day short course meet hosted by PCS in the Saanich Commonwealth Place pool. It is a great opportunity for swimmers to race fast short course times at the end of the season when they have 10-11 months of training behind them.
Registration Deadline is Friday, July 10.
More information once the meet package is available. We can guess that warm-ups will be at 8:00am for prelims and 3-4:00pm for finals based off of last year's information.
Own Travel
We will not have team travel for this meet. Swimmers are welcome to attend Saturday and/or Sunday of the meet but are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. Brad will be at all sessions of the meet through the weekend. If you are planning to travel to the meet, it is strongly suggested to book ferries now!
One Day Travel Option
Swimmers wishing to travel to the meet on their own may take the 6:00am ferry on Saturday to arrive at the pool by warm-ups. We will organize transportation to/from the pool with any parents who are planning to attend that day. Swimmers can ferry home on the Saturday night after finals. If you are traveling for the one day, I would recommend walking onto the ferry and uber/taxi to the pool. Also possible to arrange rides with families traveling to the meet.
