Pursuit - Pacific Coast Swimming Training Camp - Victoria
October 12-15
Open to all swimmers in Pursuit, this camp will be used to get a boost in training as we enter our largest training block in the fall. Swimmers will train Thursday evening, Friday morning, Friday evening, Saturday morning and have a time trial with PCS/Island on Saturday afternoon.
Registration Deadline - Monday, September 25
Early deadline so that we can finalize numbers for rentals and accommodations.
If any parent is interested in chaperoning please let me know. Will involve driving swimmers and making meals. Planning to make basic meals and have swimmers help with meal prep and cleanup throughout the weekend.
Basic Details
Depart - Thursday, October 12 - 1:00pm Ferry - two options pick up at Hollyburn at 11:30am or walk onto the ferry at Horseshoe Bay at 12:30pm and then meet on board.
Some swimmers may be in a school swim meet that day. If it works could walk on to the Tsawwassen Ferry and be picked up or take transport to meet at the pool.
Return - Sunday, October 15 - 1:00pm Ferry that arrives at Horseshoe Bay at 2:40pm. Drop off at Hollyburn at 3:00pm.
Accommodation - have a large Airbnb house booked so that all swimmers will stay together and can cook meals in the kitchen.
