Pursuit/Typhoon Swimming Weekend with Chinook

We are planning a fun weekend hosting Chinook swimmers that will include the following events:
Friday, Oct 28 – 6:00-8:30pm - Swimmer Potluck Dinner (after we pick up Chinook swimmers from ferry around 5:30pm)
Saturday, Oct 29 – 6:30-10:00am – Time Trial at Hollyburn
Saturday, Oct 29 – 6:00-10:00pm – Fright Night at the PNE
Sunday, Oct 30 – 12:45-5:30pm – Winskill LMR at Watermania
In between will be a lot of downtime, make sure some rest is happening between events.
Potluck details:
4098 Marine Drive, West Vancouver
6:00-8:30pm on Friday, October 28
We need swimmers to sign up to bring a dish, mostly main course but can also use some veggies/fruits and dessert. Sign up is on the whiteboard at the pool but swimmers/parents are welcome to email Brad as well.
Parents are welcome to stay during the potluck as well. Swimmers can bring a swimsuit as there is a pool and hot tub.
We will end at 8:30 since we have an early wake up the next morning.
Time Trial
We are still in need of officials for the Time Trial, please email Jon at jongovier@shaw.ca if you can help out. Soon we will have job signups on the website but we are not quite there yet.
Fright Night
We will meet outside between 5:45-6:00pm, please dress warm enough. We will plan pickup at 10:00pm. Chinook coach Rob and I will be there throughout.
Winskill LMR
On deck at 12:45pm at Watermania, everyone should be done by 5:30pm, will send out more specific timeouts if they are available.
Halloween - October 31
We are going to have the full day off. We will move the Monday morning practice to Wednesday, November 2 so we will have a double that day as we are ramping up our training.
